What skin care should a 30 year old woman be following?

I'm almost 30 and I'm worried that I'm not doing as much for my skin as I should be. Especially my face. What type of cleansers and lotion should I be considering? Should I start wrinkle prevention now? What skin care should a 30 year old woman be following?
At the very least, use sunscreen on your face and neck. That's something you will regret later if you don't. Sun damage isn't pretty.

Your skin care routine should depend on your type of skin. Generally it consists of cleanser, eye cream, and moisturizer. I don't think toners make a difference really unless you have very oily skin.

At 30 you likely don't need much in the way of moisturizer but should be using something. What you need to know first is if your skin is oily, normal, combination, or dry and then get a set of products related to that skin type. It doesn't have to be expensive, drug store brands are fine.

Whatever you decide to use, don't forget to include your neck and under your chin. What skin care should a 30 year old woman be following?
In addition to a good moisturizer and a good cleanser (probably also a moisturizing cleanser to help encourage new healthy skin cell growth and prevent dry skin which can make it look as though your skin is wrinkled) I would also use an exfoliant 2-3 times a week. You don't want dead skin cells building up on your face because they can cause blemishes and wrinkled unhealthy skin. New fresh skin always looks smooth and pretty dead skin not so much. Nonetheless don't over do it on the exfoliant because that can cause the skin to become overly dry. Always make sure the skin is clean before using the exfoliant and always moisturize afterward. Also make sure to choose a moisturizer with sunscreen in it for the day to protect the skin from UV rays.
Your most important product at this time would be a moisturizer with SPF. Moisture in the skin prevents wrinkles and makes your skin look healthier and glowing, and the SPF prevents damage by UV rays, which can cause premature aging of the skin. Use a deep moisturizer for nighttime.

Also get a cleanser formulated for your skin type (dry, combination, oily) and gently exfoliant that you can use a few times a week. Exfoliating gets rid of dead cells and makes your complexion brighter :)
Many products currently on the market claim to “revitalize aging skin.” According to the American Academy of Dermatology, over-the-counter “wrinkle” creams and lotions may soothe dry skin, but they do little or nothing to reverse wrinkles. At this time, the only products that have been studied for safety and effectiveness and approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat signs of sun-damaged or aging skin are tretinoin cream and carbon dioxide (CO2) and erbium (Er:YAG) lasers.
Find a good moisturizer.

Read the bottle and figure out what exactly you want your skin to be doing, ex. dewrinkle, evening out skin, etc.

That would help.

Olay usually makes some of the best.

If you've tanned a lot in the past or was

in the sun, you may get wrinkles sooner,

so you can start wrinkle prevention if you

feel it's necessary.

Meaningful Beauty is something you

can find online, it has steps to renew, rejuvenate, etc.
You are very smart to begin taking better care of your skin. At age 30 I suggest that you clean your face morning and night and use a good moisturizing cream.

Ivory soap is a pure soap with no additives and it is relatively inexpensive. If you tan, be sure and use an extra moisturizer with sunscreen.

Everyone is different but find a cream that works best for you!

You did not specify what skin type you are: anyways suggest you check out Coonobabe. their cleanser/toners section. find the combination right for your skin. I use their Pepino cleanser followed by their Manzanillo toner for my oily skin. This is what I do: same process for any other cleansers/toners. wash with cleanser, pat dry with clean towel, apply toner with cotton pad and allow to air dry.
