Does anyone know of a good skin care line to prevent premature aging?

don't get me wrong, I'm not that old. I am 23 but I am starting to notice some really fine lines under my eyes and it's creeping me out. I want to know if anyone has heard of a good skin care line that can prevent premature aging and that can also nurture my skin. I have an oily complexion and I'm somewhat prone to acne. Please help...I need good advice!Does anyone know of a good skin care line to prevent premature aging?
First of all, you do not have mature skin until the age of 25. You have two more years to go but it is good to start using products to prevent wrinkles. I know of a good product but they are sold only in specific places. There is one called the revitilizing eye cream that is sold in Being Spa the website is www.beingspausa.com you can find it on there. There is also the sothys refirmming products which I have no clue where you can buy. Check it out online!Does anyone know of a good skin care line to prevent premature aging?
Try using Oil of Olay products it will work. Skin Defining..

  • How can a woman spend so much time on hair, make up and skin care and then light up a cigarette?

Don't they realize how disgusting the smell of cigarette smoke is on the inside as well as the outside of your body? Not to mention how utterly stupid it is to ruin your health with tabacco products. How can a woman spend so much time on hair, make up and skin care and then light up a cigarette?
Seems crazy, doesn't it? It always kills me, too, when they do it around their kids or pets. It's one thing if you're addicted and need to smoke even though it harms yourself, but to expose your loved ones to it is criminal. How can a woman spend so much time on hair, make up and skin care and then light up a cigarette?
Welcome to the irrational world called Planet Earth.
Either she is addicted from the start for whatever reason (needed a release, wanted to try it and was hooked and so on) and she has always cared about her physical appearance.

Or she cares about her physical appearance and that cigarette helps pull together her alluring sexy look ... or so she thinks. It may also help her keep the weight off which goes back to physical appearance.

I think cigarettes are disgusting I don't completely understand. But those are just my two cents.
Yeah and we all know you'd light your foot on fire to light her cigarette if she so much as gave you the time of day. Damn you sound like a pathetic afterschool special.
How can any human with half a brain light up with all the bad stuff we now know tobacco does?
I'm sure you also have a bad habbit.
It is a myth that smoking keeps you thin so guess what they do...
    nicotine addiction is very strong
Nasty Huh? And it's taking years from her life, and is gonna look older in the future.

What's a good skin care routine to achieve smooth, healthy, and flawless skin?

I have couple blackheads here and there, along with some whiteheads. My skin type is a combination of dry, and oily. I'm tired of having acne, it's so frustrating to deal with. My confidence level has dropped down a lot. I need help. So, what's a good skin care routine to achieve smooth, healthy, and flawless skin?

Thanks for answering! What's a good skin care routine to achieve smooth, healthy, and flawless skin?
**I had a hypersensitive, fair skin in my early teens. My skin was dry and severely flaking, had severe sun damage, discolorations, blotches, large pores, many blackheads and whiteheads, pimples and scars. I found cause was mainly harsh soaps and also shampoos that gave me severe flaking scalp and harmed facial skin. I switched to hair and face washing with a mild natural bar soap with no additives, no colorings, no fragrances and healing started. Healing was very much hastened by vigorous massaging with essential oils. To do vigorously first tighten face by opening mouth 3/4'; and pulling lips firmly back against teeth. Do a forward and back massage with tips and front and sides of fingers and palms, depending where on face applying. Circular massage is not effective. Gradually build up to vigorous as skin has to adjust. Initially face and hands may ache but also quickly adjust. If do a daily 30 min massage(can be in two or more sessions) you will get dramatic results. In first few days blackheads, whiteheads and pores will vanish or greatly diminish. Skin will quickly become smoother, softer, tighter and look and feel revitalized and develop a healthy glow. Keep it up and It will become totally blemish free. Oils are perfect moisturizers so do not remove. Lightly wash off excess with water and dab dry with tissues.

Treatment also cured skin hyper sensitivity.

We are always being told that high spf sunscreens are bad for skin. After massaging with oil, apply sunscreen on top of oil. The oil acts as a barrier. Surprisingly it is equally if not more effective. I often spend many hours a day in blistering Mexican sun with just one application of spf 15 and never burn.

OILS: I had great results with olive. Best for some acne prone skins are lavender, rosewood, bergamot. They do not clog, cause breakouts and they lessen skin's production of oils. They are strong and need diluting 25/75 or 50/50 with grapeseed, almond or olive oil.

Many have benefited on Answers from treatment. Here is a report from one of them.

    wannabeblue28: ';Hi Mukunda M. I have just been rubbing my face and neck with the ridges of my fingers and hands. It has made a HUGE difference in my complexion after just one night. ...... my skin looks so much tighter and i no longer have bags under my eyes! Thank you so much for your post, I have been suffering with acne and under-eye circles since i was young.';

.What's a good skin care routine to achieve smooth, healthy, and flawless skin?
I recommend Ret Perfect Retinol 0.05% for acne control, even though you have sensitive skin, I still recommend it as everyone, sensitive or not, reacts to this cream within the first week of use. Your skin will calm down the 2nd week. The good thing about Retinol is it has the ability to feed your skin cells Vitamin A which is one of the most important supplements for keeping your cells healthy. You will find that your skin after a few weeks of use, will not be sensitive anymore as it seems to change your cell structure which in turn changes your skin.

I also recommend microderm, but only for keeping your skin clean and glowing, as you will have discovered, microdermabrasion is just a glorified exfoliator, but it is an excellent exfoliator though. The ecoderm one has Emu oil in it, so you will notice you still have a layer of moisture on your skin even after you wash it off.

I also recommend a serum, the DMAE %26amp; MSM one or The Ultimate Firming Serum, its excellent and is packed with active ingredients and vitamins for your skin.

Don鈥檛 ever use a soap at all, whether its organic, tea tree oil or whatever base they say it is, as ALL soap strips your natural oils from your skin and so your cells then compensate by producing more oil and that鈥檚 why you get break outs at times.
(this may be long so bear with me lol!)

try the Simple Kind To Skin ranger and Oil Balancing range - you should be able to get it at most drug stores or supermarkets. Simple products don't have any perfumes or colours in them, so they wont irritate your skin or damage it (as your skin is still quite young). it's not really expensive, but it's not cheap rubbish either.

this stuff is amazing and leaves your skin feeling so soft!

    professionals will say that you're supposed to ';cleanse, tone and moisturize'; and if you want to then here's some stuff that i would recommend;

    1. wash every morning and night with the Moisturizing Foaming Facial Wash: http://www.simple.co.uk/products/Moistur鈥?/a>

    2. after washing, cleanse with the Purifying Cleansing Lotion: http://www.simple.co.uk/products/Purifyi鈥?/a>

    3. after cleansing, tone with the Soothing Facial Toner: http://www.simple.co.uk/products/Soothin鈥?/a>

    4. finally, use the Oil Balancing Moisturizer (this will stop your face from looking shiny if you have oily skin): http://www.simple.co.uk/products/Oil-Bal鈥?/a>

    5. also, once a week you could try the Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash as it will help clean your skin deep down to help keep the oilyness at bay: http://www.simple.co.uk/products/Oil-Bal鈥?/a>

    of course, you dont need to go by what i say lol. feel free to choose your own combinations. here's links to both the ranges i would recommend for you;

    Oil Balancing Range: http://www.simple.co.uk/categories/Oil-B鈥?/a>

    Kind To Skin Range: http://www.simple.co.uk/categories/Kind-鈥?/a>

apart from all that stuff, (you probably will hear this all the time, but) try to drink at least 2 litres of water/liquid a day as it really will help keep your skin hydrated if it is dry.

    hope this helps (:
I use the cinique 3 step range for oily skin, due to the occassional breakout and pores. The only downside to clinique is the cost - and giving that your 13, it might be out of your price range? Why dont you try and go to to Drs and talk about your problem with the acne, they maybe able to prescribe some creams etc. When I hit 13 to 16 my skin also broke out in acne. It settled down eventually :)

I would also recomend, not touching or 'popping' the spots and drink lots of water.
Moisturise in the morning , cleanse at night and tone and moisturise (make sure none of your products include perfume) don't use no spot face washes it drys out skin . Exfoliate once a week , no more then once otherwise it drys out skin. Dry plenty of water and use a face mask once a week not one thats too harsh as you have acne.
Try the Clinique range, they are really good but abit on the pricey side at 拢41 per set.

I would advise you go down to a Clinique counter (found at many big department stores) and get them to do a skin test on you and they can give you a personalized program x

oh and always ask for samples :)
use a microbead cleanser or a deep cleanser once a week and moisturize afterwards then wash ur face with dove beauty bar once a day

    and moisturize

try not to touch your face all that much

wash ur pillow cases once a week

and finally exercise and drink lots of water

The objective is to make a change, improving skin appearance from the inside, which means that the product used works inside the skin stimulating what is needed to return to the skin鈥檚 natural balance and increase collagen and elastin production; and the essential components to keep the skin healthy. This effect appears as a remarkable change in a short time and depends on the kind of peeling used and the depth of it.
I got these tips from http://www.goodhealthyskin.com.

Pick those products with these natural Ingredients that can help boost your body's collagen and elastin

    1) Phytessence Wakame -- This is a special extract from a Japanese sea kelp. However, extracts of the sea kelp have been shown to have amazing properties in keeping the skin young. For example, phytessence wakame attacks a harmful enzyme in the body, which breans down a needed substance called hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid works with your two most important skin proteins collagen and elastin to keep your skin supple and smooth.

    2) Grapeseed Oil - Grapeseed oil is a potent antioxidant. When used for skin care, the application of it creates an invisible film on your skin, to keep moisture locked in. The antioxidant properties fight off free radicals, which is one of the leading causes of skin cell destruction and aging.

    3) Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 - This is a wildly popular and expensive anti-aging nutritional supplement. It penetrates deeply into your skin. In scientific studies, it produces a dramatic anti-wrinkle effect as it is a powerful anti-oxidant that works deeply in the layers of your skin.

Can anybody give me some good tips for good skin care?

I am a girl, currently in 8th grade and my skin's a total mess. I have these red blemishes on both of my cheeks and lots of blackheads and oil on the sides of my nose. I've tried using clinique, murad and other materials, but it just made my skin worse than before! :( I'm always stressing out when I look at myself in the mirror. People say that my face is pretty but just my skin's not. Can anyone please help me? This is serious for me!!Can anybody give me some good tips for good skin care?
Here, try using these great home remedies.

Using Lemon is the best thing to reduce the marks and blemishes on the skin. It can be applied directly on the skin.

You can also rub a lemon peel on the skin with a little sugar on it or without the sugar. After rubbing it leave it on the skin for at least 10 minutes. If you practice this regularly you can reduce the scars/marks finely.

Grate potatoes, wrap them in a cloth and take out the juice. Mix few drops of lemon juice and honey to it and apply it on your face. If you don't want to apply it all over the face then apply only on the marks. Wash off after 20 minutes. (Potato has bleaching agents, which reduces the blemishes.)

Make a mixture of tomato juice and lemon juice. You can fill it in a bottle and keep it in the refrigerator. You can apply this mixture on your face daily with a cotton ball.

Honey added in milk powder helps in reducing the blemishes.

If you have real dark blemishes on the skin make a powder of dry lemon peels and orange peels.

Drinking lots of water to keep the skin hydrate and detoxified.

    Good Luck

    Hello,

My name is Joy and I am an independent beauty consultant for a skin care company, Warm Spirit, Inc. I do know the ends and outs of appropriate skin care. I would like to offer a couple of solutions for you to try. No matter how ';Young'; or how old a person is, everyone needs to take care of their skin!

First your diet- what goes inside of you contributes a whole lot to what shows up on the outside of our body. A change in your intake can go a long way. Decreasing chocolates, watching your sugar consumption and drinking lots of water (cutting out the sodas/pops) could drastically reduce the appearance of blackheads.

Secondly, you want to get into the habit of nourishing your skin with a great product line. Considering you have sensitive skin you want a product line that is formulated without dyes or harsh chemicals; is nature based using plants, flowers, herbs and pure essential oils (these will combat the appearance of oily skin and blackheads). You want to treat your skin with ingredients that are organic as well.

Exfoliate and Hydrate and Clarify! Keep the skin free from old dead cells and keep the oil at bay by utilizing a gentle facial cleanser. The red blemishes will need to be fought with either a good facial serum (these are normally given by a dermatologist or offered by a great skin care line) or a blemish skin care product which I can offer for you.

If you would like to try any of Warm Spirit's organic nature based products, I would be happy to help you select a regimen that you will be very pleased with.

Take care and I hope this helps.

    http://www.warmspirit.org/esuite/home/jo鈥?/a>
Consider your age range too as this is a common time when your body starts becoming adult so lots of hormone activity can definitely contribute to skin such as yours.

Diet is important here too. Cut out any fast foods as much as possible; those saturated fats are hard on your complexion. Increase water, unsweetened juices, low-sugar drinks. Add whole grains, not white processed breads (no donuts etc). Avoid fried food and increase things like boiled eggs, cottage cheese, chicken (not fried), and fresh fruit and vegies.

What you put into your body will show on your skin:) healthwise.

As for products, Neutrogena has a simple cleanser %26amp; toner %26amp; moisturizer you can use. Or a cosmetics clerk can show you what the drugstore carries. Nice products.

Stress? That can irritate your skin. Can you add a B-Complex supplement from the drugstore? Also, my drugstore carries something called ';Stresstabs'; which is the b-complex but with more to help with stress.

    Hope this helps.
First, schedule an appointment with a dermatologist! That's your failsafe. 2/3 times the dermatologist will give a first time patient differin gel.

But listen, between now and when you get that appointment this is what you need to do: Make sure whatever you cleanse your face with says non comedagenic or hyper allergenic. You don't want any cleansers with fragrances or ingredients that will clog your pores. I suggest Cetaphil cleanser (unlike a soap it doesn't strip the skin of all its oils, thereby causing the skin to produce an excess of oil and cause even more pimples). After you cleanse, use a toner. You don't need to drop a bundle on this. I suggest Clean %26amp; Clear toner.

For moisturizers, make sure whatever you use says non comedagenic or hyperallergenic. Same thing for makeup! If it does not say these two things then run! Just an ';oil free'; label is not enought. Try bare escentuals mineral makeup or clinique makeup if you are wearing makeup yet.

Lastly: Don't touch or pick your face when you are not cleaning it. This will only aggravate the situation and cause scars. Also, the whole ';chocolate and greasy foods causes acne'; thing is a myth. The grease in your food has nothing to do with the grease your face produces.

What skin care treatement removes dead skin cells?

is it a facial? or was it something else? What skin care treatement removes dead skin cells?
It depends upon your skin type. What is great for one maybe too harsh or not something you feel beneficial for yourself. I have tried facial scrubs that exfoliates from various high end companies. I use various forms of exfoliation from mild to abrasive twice a week, depending upon the weather and how my skin is reacting. In the summer I exfoliate more often than in the winter when my skin tends to dry from the harsh cold weather. I would suggest you experiment with various bands until you find one that you like. There are many good companies out there to choose from. What skin care treatement removes dead skin cells?
Anything that ';exfoliates'; removes dead skin cells.
I use an at-home microderm system once a week. It is a ';Spa Quality'; treatment.that you would find at a dayspa.
You could always try some Hydrochloric Acid, however that may remove some live skin cells as well.
lots of methods actually.. choose one that works for you -

    - facial

    - microdermabrasion (salon or homekits)

    - exfoliating scrubs (such as st. ives)

    - antiacne skin care

    - facial/body sponges or loofahs

my favorite is st. ives apricot scrub. :-)
use an expholiating scrub, its usually a facial wash with little beads or something in them that isnt as harsh as a loofa but is still effective enough to remove dead skin from your face. but if its for the rest of your body then yes, a loofa will do it. you have to be careful with what you rub on your face because the skin on your face reacts differently and is WAY more sensitive than the skin on the rest of your body.
rubbing your skin with a loofa in the shower works

  • What is the best drugstore brand to use for skin care?

i have dry skin and not severe, but i do have dark circles

i see all of these adds for cleansers and stuff, but i just don't know what to try. So i want to know what all you ladies out there would recommend :) i just really want to find a routine that would work for me, and of course the right products. thnx =)What is the best drugstore brand to use for skin care?
Neutrogena is definitely a trusted brand for me. But regularly I use their transparent facial bar (they have them labelled for different skin types), toner and their sunscreen. Remember that cleansers work by clinging to the dirt, makeup and oils in your skin so that the water can wash it away. You don't need any fancy product to do this. Just a product that does it efficiently, gently and without residue.

I also use Aveeno/Olay moisturizer and Nivea cream.

Basially Aveeno/Olay is non-greasy, hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic and has SPF so it works great under makeup with my skin.

Nivea gives me a lot of moisture during the winter time (because I live in a very warm place) and feels really rich on your skin. I can also use this both on my body and on my face.

For my body, I use Palmer's Cocoa butter lotion. It makes my skin feel incredibly soft and it evens skin tone. It's supposed to reduce stretch marks too.

For exfoliation, I just use brown sugar over my cleanser, and to remove makeup, baby oil.

Good luck :)What is the best drugstore brand to use for skin care?
I no of a great website which sell all types of skin care products. I only use it for the hair removal cream (I cycle). But yea it has a lot of great products so you should check it out. Also what is great is that they have a money back gaurantee if it doesnt work.

    Hi Linda

It depends on what you want to portray. What kind of services do you offer? Brainstorm on the image you want to project. Is it classy, refined, earthy, organic, fun, relaxing, polished, casual? Who is your market--moms, retired women, young professionals?

Once you've picked an ';image'; and a target group, brainstorm words that project your image and appeal to your group.

Have fun and best of luck. Can someone help me please to create a good slogan about hair and skin care services?

Facials are what we do for skin maintenance atleast once a every 3months. For regular hygiene do steam regularly. Don't poke or extract your blackheads harshly like there is no tomorrow. i do believe that we have the same, oily to combination skin type, especially around our T-Zone. It is interesting for people to think that avoiding creams can help solve oily skin. But its wrong. You just have to find the right-based cream. Cream and Water-based works best for skin like ours. Veer away from oil based creams during day time, you can use them during the night.

You can best help your skin if you do the 3-step facial regimen: wash, tone and moisturize. Washing helps remove dust that accumulated on the surface of the skin, toning provides additional cleaning as well as it preps the skin by removing dead skin cells that can just block healthy cells' absorption of the third step, the moisturizer.

The key is to be able to find the right product to help you with your problem. I can suggest the brand: Mario Badescu. They have a line of products that really is good for our type of skin, I personally recommend the Enzyme Cleansing Wash, Cucumber Toner and the best HONEY MOISTURIZER. If you use these products, they don't have the same ''stretched-dry-skin'; that other products leave. This is often the misconception of people, that dryness and no oil means clean skin. What Mario Badescu does is gently and effectively clean it. Plus they're natural.

For additional cleaning and maintenance on acne, try their DRYING LOTION pink stuff that you put on your pimples which dries it, it stings but the stingy signals that it works. ACNE GEL, which serves as your drying lotion maintenance during day time. To Remove black marks that are left by acne, use their GLYCOLIC WASH and BUFFER LOTION. Check out their line of products online. I dont work for them, its just that they really work and i would like to share it with you.

I already bought several products, some for my own use and others for friends and family. We've all switched to the products sold by this health professional. They're much cheaper that what you'd spend somewhere else, and THEY REALLY WORK. Plus, the free advice you get along with the products cannot be beat. But... you must get in touch with the website owner because she does not have an on-line store. Just tell her what your problem is. you should always always always tip if the service is good.
i believe it's polite to tip, i just don't know how much

Anyone got the name of a really good make up and skin care line for VERY sensitive skin?

I have tried Clinique, Olay, Dove, Lancome, Estee Lauder and all make my eyes burn or skin breakout within hours. I have developed this sensitivity over the past 15 years and it just seems to get worse all the time. Suddenly at a time in my life when I really need to wear a little make up, I can't wear any at all.Anyone got the name of a really good make up and skin care line for VERY sensitive skin?
Same problem here babe! It BLOWS! I get the hive action and everything... ugh.

Face wash: Avalon Organics Co-Q 10 Facial Cleansing Milk. Its sooo gentle and removes makeup (as a bonus, its not really supposed to...). It has no actual soap (sodium --blank--sulfates) in it, but its amazing! They have one that is just a cleanser so if you get it make sure you get the Facial Cleansing MILK!

Makeup: Smoky Mountain Minerals is really nice and doesnt contain bismuth (which causes allergic rxns). My aunt uses Mojave Magic and her allergies are RIDICULOUS. I have never used it but she likes it so, thats a pretty good word to go on. For eyeshadow I use the Smoky Mountain stuff or Bare Minerals.

I hope you find something that works for you. Look those up online, and see what you can find. I know how FREAKIN' FRUSTRATING stupid allergies can be (and expensive for the steroids too)! I hope I helped ya! Good luck.Anyone got the name of a really good make up and skin care line for VERY sensitive skin?
    How about Almay?
almay and nutragena are good for makeup I use caldale for skin care its gentler then nutragena you can but it at saprha and a few other stoes also on line
I do NOT sell this stuff but I can guarantee you that Mary Kay products will work. I had a horrible complexion when I was a teen (way way back) and I'd wear it and it would CLEAR my face up....I'm allergic to a lot of skin products and deodorants........if I wore any make-up now, I would find it again......
    Try Almay
I am allergic to everything...the only makeup and skin care products that I can use is Merle Norman. Just google that name to find a retailer in your area. I have used it for 20 years.
    how about: so-soft?
Have you ever tried some homemade products that you can make yourself. Maybe you should should make some masks rather than spending all your money on stuff that will not work.

a little expensive kinda but worth it.

oh and this is my brother's profile.

    im actually a girl

    haha
Have you talked to the people at these counters...and DON';T use products from places like trget and stuff, those are usually crap...especially for you with sensitive skin. the best thing to do is to google it. might sound cheezy but im sure your not the only one in the world and there will be makeup that will suit your skin type. another option is just don't wear makeup at all...if you can keep your skin clean, thats all that matters...natural looks the best. but good luckand i hope you figure it out1
Cetaphil is the most gentle I have found.
I recommend Arbonne's skin care and makeup lines. They have many products specifically for sensitive skin and anything that is applied around the eye has been opthamologist (eye doctor) tested and approved.

For really sensitive skin try their Intelligence Skin Care line. I also use, personally and professionally, their entire makeup line. I would recommend the mineral makeup for sensitive skin.
I like the natural line called Kandesn. ...pricing is about same as better dept store brands but the difference is that it is natural without the stuff that clogs your skin such as glycerin, lanolin and preservatives and animal by products.

I've used the line for the last eleven years and love it...
proactiv.[ the same company that make the 3 step acne fighting treatment] have a new line of make-up that is very good on senitive skin. or you can try covergirl make-up they come in a sensitive collection too.

    hope it helps
Neutrogena actually works very good for lotion and Cetaphil has really good skin cleansers for sensitive skin. My best friend breaks out by just trying clothes on and she loves that brand.
i have issues with some make up but i dont really know if what i use would be the same for you... but as for skin care..

i use oxy face wipes, instead of having to wash with soap because i breakout in rashes and spots when using soap, and the face pads work fine for me, just wipe it on a morning then on a night before bed..

but its different for each person, i hope you find a solution, but maybe give oxy products a go for skincare at least =]
neutrogena and arbonne. look for arbonne online, cause you cant buy it in stores

I'm not interested in haircutting, or nails. I am interested in skin care and makeup though. I want to travel maybe to represent the company, how do you do that? THANKS!!What are some jobs in skin care or beauty that require travel?
If you are going to work for someone else I suppose a lot will revolve around your qualifications in the cosmetology, skin care field. Does anyone know of good skin care products that are inexpensive?

My acne really isn't that bad, but I do get those big bumps on my face that are hard to get rid of. I am only fourteen, so I usually don't have that much money in my wallet, and my mom doesn't like to buy me expensive products, especially acne systems. Does anyone know good skincare products, such as cleansers, astringents, and creams that are inexpensive? And please don't suggest Proactive or anything like that, because my mom refuses to buy it for me.Does anyone know of good skin care products that are inexpensive?
There's a product that is a knockoff of proactive called acnefree. Although it does come in a set, you can just purchase the cleanser and forget the rest of it. I know Walmart and Target sell it. I live in the Midwest, and here, an 8 oz bottle will cost you about $5 and last you a long time. In addition to that, I would use an astringent of some kind. I'm always amazed at the extra stuff astringent gets off my face. I use Clean n Clear and that usually costs about $2. Good luck dear!Does anyone know of good skin care products that are inexpensive?
I have delt with acne for many years. I get those pimples that stay under your skin for months before coming to a head. I have recently been using a bar of dove soap and IT ACTUALLY HELPS, except ofcourse during that lovely time of the month.;) My skin is oily and dry with the dove i do not use any moisturizer or anything just the bar. What I do is lather it on my face and use my loafa to scrup (not hard though). Hope this helps you.
There's this brand called Rachel Perry, and it's a natural soap..you could try it. They probably carry it at a health store or even a grocery store.

Also, taking a multi-vitamin and drinking just a little bit of apple cider vinegar diluted in water(disgusting, but works incredible wonders) are also stuff that's cheap and literally has worked miracles for me and my bro, and we have acne pretty severe.
See if you can get cortisone shots for the huge acne cysts, if you have health insurance and can see a dermatologist. Cystic acne cannot just be fixed with any over the counter product.

Is it OK to store skin care products in the bathroom cabinet?

It says on all my skin care products' package that the product should be stored in a cool, dry place, but once I open and start using the product, I always keep it in my bathroom cabinet, which is directly above the bathroom sink and next to the bathtub, does it mean that it's not an ideal place to store the skin care products(as its not always dry in the bathroom)? Where do you store your products? Is it OK to store them in the bathroom cabinet? Is it OK to store skin care products in the bathroom cabinet?
i dont know it's good or not but i always leave them there....Is it OK to store skin care products in the bathroom cabinet?
Are you older enough to vote? If you are I recommend that you abstain as you can not make a decision over whether its OK to store skin care products in a cabinet. So you are unable to decided on who should be in the government cabinet ;)
Well as long as these products are not continuosly exposed to high temps it should be fine.
Its okay to store it there. I store mine on my dresser well I don't really have any products I just have like four.
    Same...
i do that, i dont think its a big problem

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced organic skin care regime for combination skin?

I have looked up different product such as siku, lush, burts bees, aubrey organics, and kiss my face organics, but am unsure how to compare them ( which products work the best etc.). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced organic skin care regime for combination skin?
lush is the best. My skin has never looked so good. try herbalism, coal face or tea tree water if you have oily skin. and never never forget honey trap lip balm. I love that stuff!!!Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced organic skin care regime for combination skin?
Check out the stuff at www.origins.com. The new plantidote stuff is pretty popular. I prefer the Perfect World line but all of their stuff is pretty great.
I think the skincare products from Dr Hauschka are fantastic. When I first started buying them I thought they were expensive, but they last for ages. For years I used to get patches of eczema on my face and the Dr Hauschka products cleared it completely. They also really balance out your skintype which should be ideal for your combination skin.

I live in the UK and use Ebay as you can save a lot compared to the shop prices or buying online from Dr Hauschka.
Aristry is really good. Now they are a prestige skin care but their ingredients are organic. I'm not sure whether or not you've heard of Nutrilite? well they are the number one vitamin and supplement company in the world and they are all organic, they put their ingredients in the Artistry skin care. You can to to http://www.artistry.com to read about Artistry. If you decide you want to buy something you can go to http://www.adrennan.qhealthbeauty.com They have a 100% money back guarentee on all of their stuff so if you use any of them and are not happy with it for any reason they will give all your money back. I hope this helped :)
try chinese, korean, and japanese skin care lines if you are really interested... these cultures have really developed great skin care lines long before those popular american and european brands did...

Does the clinique skin care products work / help to get clear skin?

does it achieve clear skin? have you used it?Does the clinique skin care products work / help to get clear skin?
    yes.

im using it now and its working for me!Does the clinique skin care products work / help to get clear skin?
    What are the ingredients?

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:

    * Mineral Oil, Paraffin %26amp; Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer %26amp; Disruptive of hormonal activity.

    * PARABENS – Such as methyl- propyl- butyl- %26amp; ethyl- parabens: Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.

    * Phenol carbolic acid – Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.

    * Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, may inhibit skin cell growth, and is a skin irritant and sensitizer.

    * Acrylamide – Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.

    * Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) – Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived'; - and is found in many popular body washes and toothpastes!

    * Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.

    * WAXES – Such as Paraffin, Candelilla Wax, Carnuba Wax: Waxes are widely used in cleansing creams, eye creams, and moisturizers. Waxes clog pores, creating blackheads and whiteheads. They also smother the skin, which over time creates an enlarged pore problem.

    * Lanolin – A yellow, semi-solid, fatty secretion from sheep’s wool is widely used in skin and beauty care products. It can cause an allergic reaction in some people, as well as enlarged pores.

    * Acetone – Used in nail polish and nail polish removers, this colorless, volatile liquid is often used in astringents, fresheners, or clarifying lotions. It is extremely toxic and will dehydrate the skin, while speeding up the aging process.

    * ALCOHOLS – Such as Isopropyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40, Ethyl Alcohol: Alcohols dissolve the body’s natural moisturizers and strip the skin of its protection, leaving it vulnerable to infection. Alcohols destroy skin’s pH balance, and since they absorb water, they speed up wrinkling.

    * FD%26amp;C – When this abbreviation precedes the name of a color, it means that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has certified it as safe for use in drugs and cosmetics, but not food. D%26amp;C colors are usually synthetic, coal tar colors. They’re toxic and should be avoided when at all possible.

    * Dioxane – Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”. Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and Tell ALL your friends and family!!! (Extra-virgin olive and/or coconut oils are great alternative moisturizers, and they contain natural sunscreens, until you find something else without these toxins) Hope this helps!!! Good luck!!!!!
In general, my skin is pretty clear. I use clinique toner and moisturizer. I'm not a big fan of their face soap because it feels like I'm not actually using anything. I only use their toner because my mom got it for me for christmas but their moisturizer is AMAZING.

I recommend using an oil free face wash. Neutrogena is good. And any brand toner, I wouldn't waste your money on expensive clinique toner. But its definitely worth the money to get the dramatically different moisturizer.

Of course your best bet is always to see a doctor or a dermatologist because they know skin better than I do. You can also go to www.skinid.com/neutrogena and they'll give you a personalized skin care regimen.

    Hope this helps!
    No!!! :(

But what did work for me was these vitamins by ';greens'; its called perfect skin. it has fish oil and all the nutrients your skin needs to be healthy. so it doesnt just work on your face but like imporves your skin on your whole body.

I use spectro jel clenser. its AMAZING. i used to break out a lot but like maybe its a me getting older thing..or using the right routine thing.

spectro gel and perfect skin vitamins. neither are incredibly expensive.

When i do have a pimple i just put a dab of zinc on it over night. (baby diaper rrash cream)
Everyone's skin is different, you might want to try the products for awhile and see how they work for you.
they are the best things ive ever tried. I hate it when i don't have their toner because it works like nothing else.

What can I use to have clear skin, when I have sensitive skin that's allergic to most skin care products?

The doctors are useless so don't suggest that. Anything OTC I can use to avoid/prevent breakouts? (currently the only soap I can use that doesn't turn my face red and dry is a yellow bar soap called Purpose)

Thanks! What can I use to have clear skin, when I have sensitive skin that's allergic to most skin care products?
Amazing results can be had by washing your face with all natural Basic-H and then apply Herbal Blend Multi-Purpose Cream.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions. What can I use to have clear skin, when I have sensitive skin that's allergic to most skin care products?
use cetaphil, dove or neutrogena soap-they're all very mild and have frangrance free things too.
Sea Breeze for sensitive skin and a little cortisone cream all OTC.
I have allergies too and I use Clearasil Daily Face Wash for Sensitive skin. It has never caused me any problems, so you might want to give it a try.

Also, try Aveeno products. They are specifically designed and made to be hypo-allergetic, so it's excellent for people with sensitive skin and allergies. Aveeno can be a little pricey, but the products are excellent. I especially love, Aveeno Ultra-Calming Lotion to moisurize my face, it stings a little with the first couple of uses, but the burning itsn't too intense and it doesn't last long. The lotion makes my skin soft, it doesn't have an oiley residue, and it absorbs quickly. You only need to pump the dispenser once and it's enough for your whole face so the bottle lasts for a while. The only problem, like I stated before is that it's a little pricey, it's about $16 for a 4oz bottle, but it's well worth spending the money on.

Here's the Aveeno website, so you can get more info on their products. http://www.aveeno.com/index.jsp

You can use their Skin Care Advisor to choose your skin type and see what products they recommend.

And, no, I'm not a spoksperson or affiliated with Aveeno in any way. I just like their stuff!!!
Hve you tried oil of olay products??? They are supposed to be good for sensitive skin. I do believe they have a sensitive skin line as well.

What skin care products would you recommend I use?

what products do you think are good for normal daily care, to keep skin soft, any moisturisers and exfoliating creams etc? What skin care products would you recommend I use?
That depends how old you are-

A good set of products are the nivea visage range, or if you are younger, the nivea visage young range would be good. You can buy a set of products from supermarkets.. boots or somewhere and they are about 拢5 each. I would reccomend getting a cleanser (either a liquid one or gel), toner, exfoliator, and a mousturiser for after words. I have used one of there tinted moisturisers which is great because it saves the need for foundation.

This routine works a treat if you use it daily :)

Neither: Try JAFRA! girl, this stuff rocks. First start out with simple stuff (pearl cleanser, moisterizing lotion etc.) but once you get way into it you can start buying stuff like mud masks and this stuff that makes your skin's elactisity go way up(less wrinkles--I'm not an old lady, but i always stay safe!) Chek more of their products out here: www.jafra.com

    Great make-up too.

I have sensitive skin and its not too harsh so it doesn't dry my face or make it red like other products do. It costs about 7 US dollars I think but it lasts a while. What is the best skin care products you've ever tried?
';abrione'; is the best I have ever tried for the results I get is well worth it is concentrated so you just need a little

the price it depends on what you need for the hole facial system is about $130.00

this gift set includes everything you need for a good regime

cleanser, cell enhancer an oil free serum moisturizer to diminish and prevent wrinkles, anti-aging moisturizer with sun protection, microdermabrasion with small beads won't traumatize skin, the toner you buy separate but I included the price balancing act for those without problems and vanishing point 7.5 for those with prone skin
There is a great product line called Warm Spirit. They carry all natural, organic based skin care. I use a number of their products and they work wonders!

My favorite items are the Kindness Gentle Facial Cleanser- which is made with the essential oils of lavender, geranium rose, calendula and chamomile. It's Awesome! I also have tried their earth mask- which I use on a weekly basis. It's a Kaolin Clay that detoxifies, purifies and softens the skin. The lanolin in this spa-treatment- sloughs off dead skin cells and removes excess oil.

This company has spa quality items that can be used in the home. And the price for the quality is worth it. The cleanser is $15; the earth mask is $20 for a 2 0z (which lasts a long time) or $5 for a 1/2 oz.

Warm Spirit has a convenient online ordering tool that is very useful. Check them out.

Exfoliate: If you have sensitive skin, exfoliate once a week. If your skin is oily, exfoliate up to 2x weekly. The top layer of skin forms a protective barrier against the environment. Removing too many cells could increase loss of moisture, cause sensitivity, dryness, %26amp; irritation

Mask: Regular cleansing removes surface dirt, but only a facial mask will actually draw out impurities from beneath top layers of the epidermis. Mask help stimulate blood circulation %26amp; leave your skin smoother and softer and helps exfoliate dead skin cells and unclog pores so toning, hydrating %26amp; protecting products work effectively. Generally 1-2x per week for dry skin, 2-3x per week if skin is normal or combination, 3-5x per week for oily skin.

ok, my daughter has had sever eczema all her life...so I have studied skin...we are doing the natural approach...but Cerave' lotions and creams are the best...any lotions with ceramides in it...dont use ANY product with mineral in it..it drys your skin...tea trea oil is the best thing for acne or any type of irritaion...hope this helps...you can also mix tea tree and vitamin e oil together if you have dry skin if not use the tea tree oil...REAL cocoa butter oil is good...
Ive tried evrything from neutrogena to pond's and the current brand of skin care line that i use is St.Ives. I love the scrubs and masks and the moiturizer is the best. It smooths your skin without making it feel greasy!

the price range would have to be 5-8 dollars depending on what size you buy
that really depends on what the problem is. In general I would say biore. But fpr categories:

Acne - Neutrogena or ProActiv or any sulfur soap

Dry Skin - Any CoaCoa Butter

    Pore Cleansers - Biore

  • What is the best skin care product/regime?

I really want to take good care of my skin, but I don't know what product to belive it. There are OTC and then there are medical grade. Thanks for the help. What is the best skin care product/regime?
ARBONNE!!! It is really the best both me and my husband use the products and we love them. I never thought I would see my husband doing a skin are regime but I talked him into trying it and now he cant live without it. The products are not cheap but as I say you get what you pay for. They do last a long time and the bottles are all pre measured pumps so 1 pump is all you need. Here is a website you can go to and read about the products. If you don't see what you are looking for go to shoponline and there is a more detailed description.

You can find before and after photos at the bottom of the products page.

Hope this helps!!!What is the best skin care product/regime?
I was asked to try the(arbonne) re9 regime for my face last fall. It's not cheap but amazing at making your skin glow and helping with sun spots, fine lines, and dark circles and bags. I (despite not wanting to be) am hooked. I also enjoy the shower scrub, serum and body cream - I think they fall in to high end - but turns out a few local MD and pediatricians endorse the products because they are pure/natural and adjust to many skin conditions.

I'd have to say I am hooked.

Whatever you use or advice you get make sure the products do not contain a trace of petroleum (mineral/baby oils)

as this is not good for you or your skin!
I highly recommend the Vital skin care line by Bee Luscious Cosmetics, you will love the results. I have been using these products for a little over 6 months now and I just love the transformation my skin has gotten, and the compliments for people even strangers on the street because my skin looks radiant. I use the full line plus the mineral mist to refresh my skin and the liquid foundation is flawless everything they have is 100% natural and just simply wonderful.... Good Luck check them out on line

Can anyone recommend a skin care product for body acne?

I am 31 weeks pregnant with my first child and have very bad acne on my shoulders, chest, and back. I know this is due to increased horomones. My face is completely clear, due to my daily regimen of washing, toning, and moisturizing. Since I don't usually have body acne, I don't know of any good body washes or lotions that may help the situation. Can anyone recommend a good body wash or treatment? I have already tried Neutrogena Acne Body wash and it seems to make it worse. Can anyone recommend a skin care product for body acne?
Arbonne products work great and completely pure and safe and made with all natural botanical products. Other products (like neutrogena) put harsh chemicals and animal by-products in their products which is what makes your condition worse. They also have a baby line that I recommend for all babies (and I work with a pediatrician that recommends Arbonne to all her patients!) You can check out the website www.arbonne.com. If you are interested in the products or have questions feel free to email me at sara4arbonne@yahoo.com. Good Luck! Can anyone recommend a skin care product for body acne?
I AM A NURSE, I DISCOVERED ARBONNE 3 YEARS AGO THROUGH THE DR. I WORK FOR. IT IS INCREDIBLE, AND YOU WILL WANT TO GET THE BABY LINE, IT TAKES ALOT OF WORRIES AWAY ! I WILL ALSO BE GLAD TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. debstar50 b@sbcglobal.net Report Abuse

ask your doctor first im sure your obygyne will suggest some, safety first! ask if st. ives apricot body wash is safe for you ,take care
you need some type of body ';scrub';...works best on acne. try any of the body washes out there....most have sacylic acid.
I bought my son a shower gel that contains salicylic acid at Walmart. It seems to be working well.
You might need to exfoliate... I used to get horrible acne on my back and chest, and then I started exfoliating, and the problem went away.

Mix some brown sugar and lotion, and massage onto acne prone area (do not apply to face, it might be too harsh). Rub in circles to remove dead skin. Rinse in shower, and you're done!

In terms of treatment, you might want to go to a spa and ask. Once a year, I go for a ';Dead Sea Mud Wrap'; - they exfoliate the entire body, rinse off, and then cover your body with mud from the dead sea and wrap you like a taco while you take a 20 min nap. Sooooooo relaxing. But you're pregnant, so I'd recommend going to a spa and asking about treatments that are safe.
The only thing that will work is to go to the dermatologist because i had bad acne

an nothing worked and i went to the dermatologist and the acne started going away they give you the type of medicine that will work for you but it is expensive it cost me 600$ but the acne started decreasing
Try these simple remedies which can clear your skin.Wear cotton clothing and use powder to keep your back dry.Since bacteria can exacerbate the condition, always wear clean clothes, bras and T-shirts. When washing your back use a loofah, sponge or exfoliant to help remove any dead skin cells that may clog up pores. Use a gentle action and don鈥檛 be too harsh otherwise you will end up breaking the skin.Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

When starting a new skin care routine, is it normal for your face to break out more?

I just started using this new skin care routine with la roche-posey two days ago and it seems like my face is breaking out more. My friend said it's normal because the chemicals are bringing everything to the surface, but it's really bothering me. If it's normal, then I can wait it out, but I don't want to be using something that is only making my face worse. Any advice? When starting a new skin care routine, is it normal for your face to break out more?
yep. I just recently started a new routine with Clean %26amp; Clear and my face broke out SO MUCH... I got a huge pimple on my neck.. but it cleared up in 3 days instead of in a week, so I can tell things are working!

yeah its totally normal. its just releasing out all of the bad toxins. give it a few weeks and your skin will be cleared up.
No, it is not. It is irritating your skin. You need to see a dermatologist.
Yes that is normal, give it at least a week and things should clear up.

i LOVE aquaphor for any dry skin, chapped lips....anything like that. for bathtime, i use johnson or baby magic - i actually like the way baby magic smells better than johnson and johnson. for diaper time, i prefer creamy desitin over balmex, it just has a better consistency and spreads well. hmmmm, anything else? i can't think of it right now. best of luck!
Aveeno is great for dry skin/sensitive skin!

Huggies makes some lotions, shampoo/body wash

    Organics lotions are awesome too!
I only used Johnson shampoo. Never anything else, not even lotion.. but I think Aveeno has a great line of products.

What did people do 50-100 years ago when there were not all of these skin care products?

Can anyone comment on what types of products people used back 50-100 years ago? I just find it so strange that today we find it necessary to use all of these products, many without knowing the effects of them on our body, while many years ago people probably used natural products. Have you heard of any products used? What did people do 50-100 years ago when there were not all of these skin care products?
Well, in the past people uses aloe vera for moisturizing skin %26amp; treating sunburn, honey to nourishe skin %26amp; for thier anti-aging effect, and citrus fruits for exflolating properties. These ingredients are still popular in skin care products nowadays because they are simply effective to use without any negative effect. What did people do 50-100 years ago when there were not all of these skin care products?
They use plants and even nowdays, you can still use aloe vera plant latex for your skin
Personally I think the air and food was less contaminated with chemicals so the breakouts where less.
no but i have a felling they didnt care what they looked like. they washed there face with water and that was problay it.

You don't need products just for men. Womens and mens skin is the same (except for shaving)

You want to find products that are gentle, they should not sting your face.

A gentle cleaner that's cheap and good is clean %26amp; clear for sensitive skin and for acne try clean and clear persa gel.

Are there any good books devoted to biracial hair and skin care?

My brother and sister-in-law are adopting a biracial (African American %26amp; Caucasian) baby in December. Since they are both Caucasian, I'm afraid that they will assume that washing his hair daily would be ok, but I know that's not the case.

So, do you know of any good books that would explain how caring for their child's skin and hair will be different than caring for their own?Are there any good books devoted to biracial hair and skin care?
Such as a book I wouldn't know but from personal experience of having my own biracial baby I would tell you not to wash his hair every day. If he is an infant and he gets cradle cap I used to use a small amount of baby oil then the soft baby brush and use circular motions to get rid of the dry skin. When he gets older I would suggest Aloe Vera polishing treatment(Its just aloe liquefied in a convenient bottle). It is clear and you can find it in a beauty supply store. It nourishes the hair but won't leave it greasy. Also tell them to stay away from water based products because this actually will dry the hair out. Good Luck on finding a book! And it's wonderful they are adopting a biracial baby (they are the most beautiful in the world!!

Can I use skin care products made for men on my face?

I am asking because at a recent trip to the drugstore, I noticed that the men's skin care lines are cheaper than the women's, and yet the ingredient lists read about the same. Can you recommend any products? Can I use skin care products made for men on my face?
Mary Kay cosmetics have products for men. Velocity would be a good start. Most of the products that are listed, men can use. Even the shave gels that we have, men can use.

Skin is skin and just because it looks like a woman magazine doesn't mean it's all for women. :)

Browse around on my website. Can I use skin care products made for men on my face?
Probably. I think they do that because maybe the smell is more masculine or feminine? i don't think it would do any harm to try, anyway.
skin is skin - it doesn't matter.
many times you are right-men's products are about the same...you just want to be careful with things like scrubs or acne treatments that contain salicylic acid or benzol peroxide...these products in the mens line tend to have the highest over the counter percentages of these products because men have tougher skin...if you have oily skin than chances are you can handle it, but proceed with caution...but many products like normal skin cleanser and stuff often times are pretty similar
What specific skin care are you referring to?

    SHAVING - skintimate

    FACIAL - Neutrogena

How important is skin care to u? And do u have any remedies for like blemishes or fun facts?

VERY important to me! Not so much in how many times I take care of my skin, or if I do it faithfully, but more that I use ingredients that are natural and gentle, nourishing without stripping oils or damaging skin.

I use powdered milk for washing my face, and natural homemade recipes for masks and body scrubs. I have had amazing success with it and can't believe I didn't figure this out sooner!

I have 2 biracial kids-a boy and girl. My son keeps a very close crew cut and washes his hair daily.. My daughters hair is very long, curly and dry. We wash hers once a week and use a moisturizing leave in conditioner daily. It really depends on the hair as to how you will take care of it. I have used trial and error with my kids to find what works best for their hair type. Skin care is the same as mine. They can burn just as easily as caucasian people so we do use a sunblock. We use lotion when their skin is dry. I commend your brother and his wife for adopting a baby and especially a baby of mixed race. I also commend their families for being accepting. You will all soon learn that biracial children are no different than Caucasian or African American kids. Good Luck!!!Are there any good books devoted to biracial hair and skin care?

I've been using MaryKay for 13 years and love it. I look younger than my 42 years and I know I do because I'm always told that I do. I use their make-up too and it lasts forever. And, most importantly, when you buy it, if you don't like it or it doesn't work for you, you can return it for a full refund unlike Lancome or Estee Lauder or Clinique. Just try it.
I use the Clinique 3-step system. It really works! I saw improvements within 3 days! Now I can go out foundation-free.

The first step is to remove all makeup and then wash your face with the Clinique Liquid Facial Soap - Mild. Then you rinse your face off and pat it dry with a soft towel.

The second step is to get a cotton ball and put some Clinique Clarifying Lotion on it (get the kind for your skin type, either 1, 2, 3, or 4...you can take the skin type test online @ clinique.com or at the Clinique counter/store). Then you rub the cotton ball around your face and neck. A slight tingling feeling (it doesn't hurt!) shows you that it's working. This step really makes a difference.

Lastly, you apply Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion on your face. Don't use too much or your skin will feel oily.

This really does make a difference for clearer skin!! Trust me!!!!
Each day in the morning and at night use Equate Oil Free Acne Wash. This is what I use instead of Neutrogena because if you look on the ingredients all of them are the same and Equate is like 3 dollars cheaper. It leaves my skin feeling like a babies butt, and leaves money in my pocket.

Skin care systems for males and tips for good skin care?

I have mild acne Iam a 15 year old male and nothing is working for me. Please give me tips and a good system for guys! It needs to be over the counter and give me some health tips please!Skin care systems for males and tips for good skin care?
here r ur eating healthy tips

    1. Eliminate ';White Foods'; from Your Diet. White flour, white sugar and other processed foods are not only devoid of vitamins and minerals, but they鈥檝e also been stripped of their natural fibre. As a result, they rapidly drive up blood sugar levels, which contributes to weight gain, diabetes and a host of other health problems. Avoid breads and baked goods made with white flour, sugar-laden sodas and snack foods. Instead, focus on eating fibre-rich fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains.

    2. Stay Away from Dangerous Trans Fats. While it鈥檚 important to reduce your overall fat intake, it鈥檚 even more important to watch the types of fat you eat. Deep-fried foods and anything made with hydrogenated oils (margarine, peanut butter, shortening, store-bought pastries and cookies) contain trans fats that raise your risk of heart disease. Eat only healthful fats, such as olive oil and the omega-3 oils found in salmon and other cold-water fish, which actually protect against heart disease.

    3. Take a Potent Daily Multivitamin and Mineral Supplement. Although there is no substitute for a good diet, I am convinced that for optimal nutrition, you need to take a high-potency multivitamin and mineral supplement. Even if you are eating right, it鈥檚 unlikely that your food contains all the nutrients you need. Poor soil quality, storage, processing and cooking deplete our food of vitamins and minerals. Taking a high quality daily supplement is ';health insurance'; against possible deficiencies.

    4. Include Weight Training in Your Exercise Routine. Aerobic exercise is great for cardiovascular conditioning, but it鈥檚 vastly inferior to weight training in attacking the ';flab factor.'; Recent research has shown that as little as once-weekly resistance exercise can improve muscle strength. Even the busiest or laziest among us can find the time and energy for that. Join a gym, consult a personal trainer or ask an experienced friend to show you the ropes.

    5. Maintain Your Optimal Weight. Current statistics suggest that half of us are losing the battle of the bulge, but maintaining a healthy weight is one of the best things you can do for yourself. You鈥檒l look better, feel better and reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and other major killers. I know this is easier said than done, but if you just follow the four steps above, you鈥檒l be well on your way.

    6. Drink Alcohol Only in Moderation. You鈥檝e probably heard of the ';French Paradox,'; and that drinking wine protects against heart disease. Repeated studies have shown that drinking moderate amounts of alcohol (all kinds) protects not only against heart disease, but also lowers risk of death from all causes. Remember that moderation is key. While one to two drinks a day are protective, excess alcohol consumption is devastating to health. And for some, one drink is too many.

    7. Protect Your Prostate. Around the age of 40, the prostate gland begins a growth spurt that results in symptoms such as frequent nighttime urination. The good news is that this condition, known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, can be prevented or reversed by taking extracts of two herbs: saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) and pygeum (Pygeum africanum). Dozens of studies have shown that these herbs work in improving urinary flow without adverse side-effects. Suggested doses are 160 to 320 milligrams of saw palmetto and 40 to 80 mg of pygeum daily.

    8. Reduce Your Risk of Prostate Cancer. Experts estimate that 80 per cent of all cancers can be prevented by making healthy lifestyle choices. Avoid saturated and trans fats, which may fuel prostate cancer growth, and incorporate protective foods, such as soy, green tea and tomatoes, into your diet. Soy contains isoflavones with specific anti-cancer activity. Green tea is rich in polyphenols that inhibit the formation of cancer-causing compounds and block the growth of prostate cancer cells. And tomatoes, particularly cooked tomato products, are an excellent source of lycopene, which is linked to a reduced risk of prostate cancer. In addition, make sure your daily nutritional supplement contains high doses of the antioxidant selenium (200 micrograms) and vitamin E (800 IU), which have been shown to dramatically lower the risk of prostate cancer.

    9. Maintain Vigorous Sexual Function. Most cases of erectile dysfunction (impotence) have a physical cause: You鈥檙e just not getting enough blood to the area in question. To improve overall circulation, follow the diet, exercise and supplement recommendations above. If you鈥檙e taking drugs, review them with your doctor, as many can worsen erectile function and impair libido. Smoking also significantly impairs erectile function. Several herbs have been shown to improve sexual function. Ginkgo biloba increases blood flow to the penis, and Panax ginseng, oats, horny goat weed, maca and seroctin improve libido.

I know this sounds soooooo weird,

But Fish, and vegetables all keep your hair and skin healthy.

You need to buy a facial wash. Something like 'clearasil' should do the trick to help unblock your pores (which causes spots!) and use it in the morning, and then in the evening.

Exfoliate once a week, and moisturize twice a day to keep skin fresh.

Wash your face in the morning, and at night with a face wash to keep your skin healthy.

Drink PLENTY of water to hydrate your skin. It will also make the whites of your eyes whiter too.

    Good luck. =D
my acne cleared up when i began a good diet (no fast food!) and exercize with good sleeping habits. it is amazing how many benefits you get from clean, healthy living. otherwise, you will out grow it. good luck, hope this helps. remember don't worry. you have the rest of your life to worry.
The best i can say is visit a dermatologist(skin doctor) and ask for help (the doctor's mostly know what treatment you need)
Lots of water, And less greasy foods. Oh and Proactive works really well too.
